Summary
A gelatine silver stereoscopic glass slide for a Taxiphote viewer, depicting a robed man working seated on a stone floor. He appears Egyptian or Middle Eastern and seems to be operating a tool of wood and rope construction. A glass slide comprising two stereographic pictures separated by a plain glass section of the slide. The slide is unframed and unmounted. Between the two images in black ink: Verascope Richard

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
