Summary
Five coloured lithographic glass lantern slides from original paintings, in rectangular format with four circular images (35 mm diameter) per slide. The four images on each slide are numbered, but this is not one discrete set, as there are three slides with numbers 9-12, one of which is of different subject matter (mountain views, rather than the city views of the other slides). The four circular images are printed on film which is enclosed between two sheets of glass and sealed with a black paper border. Each slide has a painted black mask between the images. One side of the glass is smooth and the other is textured.
