Summary
Black and white lantern slides from drawings, Mickey Mouse in The Cactus Kid (1 of 2). Four circular pictures (24mm diameter) on the slide, with a red paper border. 1st picture: Mickey riding horse 2nd picture: Two pictures, top Minnie sat on bar with her reflection in mirror behind; bottom wider view as Mickey enters looking at Minnie 3rd picture: Mickey turns tables on a baddy with a gun 4th picture: Baddy blows out overhjead light The black and white images are printed on a thin sheet of film, the black mask is made of paper with punched holes. Film and paper mask are mounted between two glasses and the edges are bound with a strip of red gummed paper. The British Ensign Ltd produced a magic lantern and slides, based on the early Mickey Mouse, Silly Symphonies
