Summary
An Albumen print depicting a view of a ruined Castle in Cornwall. The view is of the ruins, with a small tower centre. The V&A collection identifies it as being a photo of Pengersick Castle. The print is surrounded by a grey border that is printed onto the card mount, which is subject to considerable foxing. Handwritten in pencil, recto bottom left is "[illegible] Castle Cornwall. A printed paper label is attached to the verso bottom right, "Frith's Photo-Pictures the Universal Series".
