Summary
An Albumen print depicting a view of Malvern, Worcestershire. It shows a tree lined road leading into the town with market gardens either side. The Malvern Hills are in the background. There are chimney pots in the foreground, therefore it may have been taken from a roof. The print is surrounded by a grey border that is printed onto the card mount, which is subject to slight foxing. Handwritten in pencil, recto bottom left is the title "Malvern", (and possibly)"from cross roads to hotel" and the number "162". A printed paper label is attached to the verso bottom right, "Frith's Photo-Pictures the Universal Series.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
