Summary
Albumen print depicting the construction of the Bhranini (now Brahmani) bridge, Odisha, India in 1898/9 (landscape). It depicts a distant view of the bridge with most of the piers completed, but none of the spans erected. It is taken from what looks like a dried up river bed. In the foreground is a flattened area of ground, with a large spherical object on it. On verso written in pencil "Bhranini Bridge 14.1.99".
