Summary
Albumen print depicting the construction of the Bhranini (now Brahmani) bridge, Odisha, India in 1898/9 (landscape). It depicts the new bridge in an advanced stage of construction. It shows the construction of the metal bridge spans, using both native labour and a steam driven crane. On verso written in pencil "Bhranini Bridge Buisy Corner, 14.1.99. The number 14 circled in top left corner.
