Summary
Albumen print depicting the construction of the Bhranini (now Brahmani) bridge, Odisha, India in 1898/9 (landscape). It shows the masonry bridge piers in various stages of construction, using both local labour and numerous steam engines and the creation of a temporary roadway. On verso written in pencil 'Bhranini Bridge Temporary roadway, 2.1.98'. The number 6 in top left corner.
