Summary
Albumen print photograph mounted on heavy cream card, extracted from an album. The image depicts damage to a flooded railway line, on the Bengal Nagpur Railway, Sine Midnapur, Calcutta Extension. The print, shows a section of track that is waterlogged and buckled. The flooding in the area is widespread and many trees have been brought down. However, it appears (on the extreme left) on a slightly raised bed, there is an undamaged section of track. This page from the album is on the reverse of 1520766.7
