Summary
An ornate black thermoplastic Union case. The case is lined in cream paper with brown felt internal edges. It is rectangular in shape with a design of a winged angel on front and back and an ornate border. It has burnished gilt hinges and clasp. The size is 1/9th plate. The case contains the following statement printed in black ink on cream paper in the space the image would fill: "Genuine Union Case, Improved. Fine Gilt and Burnished Hinge. S. Peck & Co., Manufacturers."
