Summary
A hand-tinted ambrotype, depicting a young lady in three-quarter length portrait. The subject is seated at a table with her left arm resting on the table. The mat is a decorated oval shape. It is surrounded by a gold preserver, and a wooden frame with a card backing and stand. The frame is painted with brown varnish. The size is a quarter plate.
