Summary
An ambrotype humorous portrait in a half case gilt frame, with an oval gilt mat and preserver, edged with red velvet. One of a pair. The photograph depicts a boys head on an uncloathed puppet type body against a black background. The half case is red card with faded gold paint to the edges. It has hanging rings attched to the top and side of the frame. The size is a sixth plate. There is a small label on the back with the number 997-A on.
