Summary
An ambrotype group portrait in a half case gilt frame, with an oval gilt mat and preserver, edged with red velvet. The photograph depicts a group of 6 women standing behind a seated clergyman. The photograph in taken outdoors with a painted backdrop depicting a wooded scene. The half case is black card with faded gold paint to the edges. It has a hanging ring attched to the top of the frame. The size is a sixth plate. There is a small label on the back with the number 854 on.
