Summary
An albumen print photograph of the Catacombs of the Convent of Capucini in Palermo. This is an internal photo of a large chamber. Along the floor on both sides are funerary caskets, hanging from the walls on both sides in rows are a large number of upright dead bodies, the skulls are visible but the rest of the body is shrouded. The photograph has diagonally cut corners. The print is in landscape and is mounted on a page of heavy white card. Markings: Below the print, handwritten in black ink and underlined, are the words: " Catacombs of Convent of Capucini - Palermo" .
