Summary
An albumen print photograph of the Church of S. John Baptist, Monza, Italy (Basilicia of San Giovanni Battista). The view depicts a close-up view of west front façade with entrance portal and tall clock tower to the lefthand side of the building. The west front is divided into six 'lesene' (applied strips). The facade has several mullioned windows with a central large rose window above the front portal. Italian Gothic architectural style 1300 to 1681. The print is mounted onto the left hand page of the album on heavy white card. The photograph is in landscape format and has diagonally cut corners. Markings: Bottom of the page, handwritten in ink and underlined, are the words: 'Church of S. John Baptist Monza'
