Summary
An albumen print photograph depicting a street scene in Siena. The picture is taken through an archway and shows a street sloping down away from the camera. In the background the Tower of the Townhall (Torre Mangia) can be seen above the roof tops. Immediately below the picture written in black ink is the title 'Siena'. The print is mounted directly onto the page in the album. The print carries the photographer's blind-stamp 'Cav. Paolo Lombardi, Fotografo', bottom right corner.
