Summary
An albumen print stereograph depicting a view along an alpine path towards a building in the far distance. In the middle of the path and the centre of the picture is a man seated on a horse. There is a wooden balastrade on the side of the path protecting a drop to the side. The print is mounted on stiff cream card and has rounded corners. The images havea curved top and a square base. Recto printed in fading black ink on both left and right margins Vues de Chamonix par Tairraz Freres Along the bottom right margin in red ink 120 Hotel de Tete Noire Verso - blank
