Summary
An albumen print stereograph depicting Glencoe from above Clachaig, Scotland. In the foreground the image depicts some boulders with a view over the glen towards the tall mountain in the background. The mountain has some cloud cover near the top. The print is mounted on heavy yellow card. Recto: A rectangular card with two retangular images with a 1mm gap. Verso: White card with a pale blue rectangular label adhered to the card. Printed in black ink: Glencoe- from above Clachaig. No. 154. G.W. Wilson, Photogratpher, Aberdeen. Handwritten in black ink on the lower right hand corner of the white card, a signature possibly: W. Hunton

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from the British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of the BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
