Summary
A monochrome albumen print carte de visite depicting a quarter length portrait of an unknown man in clergical attire. The print is mounted on heavy white card with rounded corners. Recto: Printed on card - 'R.W. Thrupp, Photo, Birmingham' Verso: Printed studio crest - 'Robert W. Thrupp, 66 New Street, Birmingham. (Negatives kept) Copies can always be obtained. This or any other portrait enlarged up to life size and painted in oil or water colors to order.' Handwritten in pencil top right - '10p'
