Summary
A Monochrome albumen print in carte de visite format. The print is a full length portrait of a young girl named Emmeline F. Whytehead with a book open at a desk. The photograph has been partially colourised, with the girl's eyes, headband, cheeks and hair having had colour added. There are markings both recto and verso: Recto, printed in red ink around the albumen print, a simple line border Recto, printed in red ink below and to the right of the print, 'SARONY' Verso, handwritten in pen at the top of the card, 'Emmeline F Whytehead' Verso, printed in red ink in the centre of the card, 'Sarony Sarony Square SCARBOROUGH'
