Summary
A monochrome albumen print in carte de visite format depicting a three quarter-length portrait of a young woman, seated, her right elbow resting on a pedestal and resting her right hand against her cheek. Print is mounted on heavy white card Recto: Printed in red ink, "electro-photograph", and a single red ink printed margin around the image. Verso: Crest and details of The London Stereoscopic & Photographic Company, 110 & 108 Regent Street and 54 Cheapside. (Prize medal for portraiture, Vienna Exhibition 1873)
