Summary
A Monochrome Albumen type carte de visite depicting a three quarter length portrait of a person, probably male, dressed in a dark coat with a large white scarf around the neck. The print is mounted on heavy white card, and Recto the image is within a red border and is printed ELSDON & SON HERTFORD. Verso is the elaborate logo of Elsdon & son in red ink.
