Letters from H. Basil S. Handford in France, sent to his mother at Elmfield, Southwell. He was possibly stationed with John Becher and the letters keep his family up to date with his experiences between 12/3/1915 and 23/3/1915.

Given by Edward Beaumont in 1998 by variation of the will of his uncle, whose wife Mary Veronica (d.1997) was the last of the Bechers of Southwell.
