Summary

Pancheon Bowl. A large earthenware farmhouse / dairy bowl used to stand milk in, purposefully made wider at the top then the bottom to let the cream separate, these useful bowls were also used in bread making & proving.

Provenance

Gift of items from Mrs J Belt Various items have been long term in the family and visitor thought they would be of interest to The Workhouse. For use in the Handling collection.
