Isn’t that the kind of clearness that counts for you and your family? How to get Omo’s bright, fresh clearness through all your family wash. Sorting your wash. Your wash is made up of many different articles. But nearly everything will fall into one of the wash codes in the Omo Fabric Care Table. Use it, and the garment label (if present) to check which code you should use – and then follow the wash instructions on the side of this packet. How much Omo to use. Machine washing Twin Tubs/Wringers Top Loading Automatics Hard water 3 cups 10 gall – 4 cups 15 gall – 5 cups Soft water 2 cups 10 gall – 3 cups 15 gall – 4 cups NB Allow ½ - 1 cup more for heavy soiling or stains. 1 cup = 3 oz (85g) Omo approximately. Handwashing and soaking. Hard water – ½ cup per gallon Soft water – ⅓ cup per gallon NB An average sinkful is 5 gallons. Omo in your machine. Fill your machine with water and make sure it is the correct temperature for the wash code. Turn on the agitator before adding the correct quantity of Omo. When you have a good later, add your wash load. For Code 1 washes (white cotton and linen) best results will be obtained if the wash load is added before turning on the heater. If you want to use the Omosuds for two or more loads always start with the hottest wash first and top up with more Omo between loads if necessary. Omo in the handwash. You can use Omo for all your handwashing. For delicate fabrics and knitwear as well as for those things that you don’t want to keep for the next machine wash, (such as shirts, socks and underwear). For all handwashing dissolve Omo completely before putting in your clothes. For woollens and acrylics use only warm Omo suds to retain the softness and shape of your clothes. For all other colour-fast handwashing use a hand-hot Omo wash. Soaking with Omo. 1. Heavily soiled or stained articles in Codes 1,2,3 of the Omo Fabric Care Tale will benefit from soaking in Omo. 2. Make up enough Omo solution to cover the articles completely. 3. Best results will be obtained by soaking overnight or for as long as possible, in a warm solution of Omo. NB Not all dyes are fast to soaking – check the care label. Never soak silk, wool or fabrics with flame-resistant finishes, nor articles with metal fasteners. For all your washing remember to: 1. Dissolve Omo thoroughly before adding clothes. 2. Rinse thoroughly. 3. Follow any special instructions from the washing machine manufacturers. 4. Pay attention to garment label wording.
