Summary
A cork from a Champagne bottle, with one slightly bulbous end, having expanded over time. Branded to one end with a heraldic shield, with an indistinct motif branded to the opposing end.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
