Summary
A ceramic serving dish transfer printed in blue Asiatic Pheasant pattern, by C.T. Maling. Of rounded rectangular form with a piecrust rim and gently fluted sides, around a dished centre. Decorated with a border of scrolling foliage issuing flowerheads, with a floral cluster to the centre and a pheasant. The two short opposing ends moulded with scrolling foliate ears. Printed to the underside with three panels of foliage and one of a partial pheasant. Raised on four short knop feet.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
