Summary
A large ceramic serving platter, transfer printed in blue on a crazed cream ground. Of rounded rectangular form with a dished centre. The rim decorated with sprays of foliage issuing hips, around a thin bead design frieze, the centre with a small boat sailing to a gothic style monument, encircled by grapes, vine leaves and latticework.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
