Summary
A ceramic serving dish transfer printed in blue Seville pattern, by John Maddock & Sons. Of oval form with a waved rim, moulded to the inside rim with scrolling foliage, around a dished centre. Decorated with a border of scrolling foliage issuing flowerheads.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.

Underside: “JOHN MADDOCK & SONS / ENGLAND / ROYAL VITREOUS” within a circle surmounted with a crown. Above “SEVILLE / Ra No 250118”.
