Summary
A ceramic warming carving dish. Oval in form with a blue transfer printed white ground top, with a dished centre moulded with scrolling channels leading to a well at one end for draining. Decorated with an anthemion and lotus leaf border and centred with a similar medallion. Upon foliate clasped paw feet capped with rosettes. With a baluster turned wooden handle to each end, each mounted on two s-shaped metal arms. Painted silver to the domed metal underneath.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
