Summary
A warming plate, with a white ceramic top upon a plated copper hollow dish bottom. The plate decorated with a single gilt painted line around the rim. With two wire handles fastened to opposing sides with a fold of metal. With a curved tubular spout protruding from one side with a circular screw cap.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
Underside: "COPPER / MADE IN / ENGLAND” around a geometrical shaped resembling the letters “OJEC” within an oval.
