Summary
A green painted Stanley knife handle, by Stanley. Formed of two tapering ovals halves moulded from steel and painted green. Attached in the middle with a single screw and with a pierced hole to one end of the two halves.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
On one side of handle: “STANLEY 199A” to one side and “blades inside made in England” to the opposing side.
