Summary
One of four pieces of wood, collectively wedged into the coal hole to create a makeshift shelf. A rectangular length of pine, with one convex side carved round. Painted red to three sides, the two ends unfinished, with three old nails protruding from one side near the end.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
