Summary
A pine spirit level. Constructed of a pine rectangular board, with a shallow channel to the centre on opposing sides, beneath a glass tube, filled with liquid and marked with two black lines, held in place by a metal plate with a rounded rectangular piercing revealing the glass tube. One end pierced with a large hole bisected with another glass tube, perpendicular to the first with the same arrangement of liquid and bubble to the inside and two black lines to the outside. With a small pierced hole further along the same end, for suspension.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
