Summary
A white painted Thonet style bentwood chair. With a bentwood toprail and horizontal splat united by three turned vertical slats. Above a circular seat showing signs of having a stamped design seat beneath the later white paint. Upon four turned legs with outswept feet, united by a single bentwood stretcher.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.

Underside: remnants of an indistinct paper label, probably reading “Made in Poland”.
