Summary
A lithograph reproduction of Botticelli's "Primavera" painting, mounted on black painted chipboard. With a central female figure dressed in flowing red and white drapery, flanked by carousing female figures in see through drapery in an orchard. With a flying putti to the top centre of the painting. Predominant colours being dark green, cream and red. With a bevelled edge to the chipboard mount and a single rounded rectangular recess to the top back for suspension.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
