Summary
A bent cane bird cage. Circular in form and comprised of a lattice of stained red bent canes. The top surmounted with a bell shaped turned wood finial issuing a bent length of wire for hanging. Above a pagoda style three tiered circular top, supported on three feet made of graduated lengths of cane fixed together in upside down triangles. One side with a door made of five vertically sliding lengths of cane, with a bent cane loop to the top.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
