Summary
An aluminium can of wood dye, by Liberon. Of rounded rectangular form with a protruding lip to the top of the can. The top centred with a white moulded plastic screw cap, with vertical moulded lines around the side. The can printed all over with images of stained wood. The front centred with a drawing a room in a house with various wooden items. Printed with script around the sides.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
To the front.: “LIBERON” over further black script “PALETTE / WOOD DYE / WOOD SHADES”. With an adhesive paper label on the front printed with white script on a simulated yellow grain background “GOLDEN PINE”.
