Summary
A Rt. Hon. Mrs Margaret Thatcher Royal Worcester commemorative plate. Produced to celebrate her anniversary of ten years as Prime Minister. Decorated to the top with a printed photograph of the Rt. Hon. Mrs Margaret Thatcher wearing a blue jacket, pearl necklace and brooch, on a light blue background. With two single line gilt borders on a white ceramic ground. With a dense border of gilt painted stylised flaming torch decoration among four panels, three containing scenes including 10 Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament, the fourth panel bearing “MJH” monogram.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.

Over the Royal Worcester printed mark and further script in blue “MADE IN ENGLAND / © 1988 ROYAL WORCESTER”. Underside: “INSPECTED / 4”.
