Summary
An aluminium tin of pink matt emulsion paint, by Designer’s Guild. Of cylindrical form, with a metal strap riveted to the top of opposing sides of the tin, now broken off at one end. With a circular lid with a single groove running round the circumference of it.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
Around side.: “DG” in blue script, above a pink box printed with black script “Schiaparelli / matt emulsion” with further script around the sides of the tin, largely obscured by rust.
