Summary

An aluminium can of wood preserver, by Cuprinol. Of rounded rectangular form the top issuing a green plastic moulded screw cap. With a protruding rim around the top of the can. The sides printed with green and white ink showing diagrams of uses together with script.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.

Marks and inscriptions

To the top.: “CUPRINOL” over white script “LOW ODOUR / WOOD / PRESERVER / GREEN” with further script below and to the reverse.
