Summary
A cardboard box of nine tea lights. The light brown printed rectangular cardboard box with an oval pierced window to the front to reveal the candles. Designed to hold ten candles, has been opened. Each candle of squat cylindrical shape, in white wax, centred with a white wick, and set into a thin aluminium tray.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
Box: “WF / WAXY FACTS” and lower down “TEN TEALIGHTS” with further script to the back and sides. On white paper label.: Printed in black ballpoint pen “12123 / £1-00”.
