Summary
A ceramic warming plate, decorated with transfer printed blue foxgloves among green foliage, inside two handpainted bands of yellow and one of gilt paint, on a cream and yellow ground. Upon a steel hollow dish bottom, circular in shape with an everted rim, with two steel wire handles fastened to opposing sides with a fold of metal. With a curved tubular spout protruding from one side with a circular screw cap.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
