Summary
One of two sealed cardboard boxes of brown wax paper lantern bags and tea light candles, by Light Styles™. The box of rectangular shape with a round cornered rectangular window to the front, revealing the paper lantern bags, pierced with stars and moons and folded flat. The box printed overall in green with script in various colours, a photograph of a house to the lower half of the front and photographs of the lanterns to the sides and back. All wrapped in sealed cellophane.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
Front.: “Light Styles™ / Luminarias™” over gold printed script “Festive Candle Luminarias™”. With various other script all over the box. Bearing a circualar luminous orange paper adhesive label to the front. : “THIS SET MADE FROM / FIRE / RETARDANT / PAPER” over a diagram of a flame within a circle with a line through it.
