Summary
A tin of ox blood coloured shoe polish, by Dasco. Of circular form with a channel to the outer rim of the lid upon a brown coloured bottom section, containing a dried disc of deep purple coloured shoe wax, (partially used).
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
Top: “DASCO” over black script reading “WAX SHOE POLISH / FOR COLOUR SEE BASE”, the base printed in black with “OX BLOOD” above a barcode.
