Summary

A Moroccan henna decorated wrought iron and goat skin lamp. With an inscrolled top finial over a pyramid form scrolling ironwork frame. With goat skin stretched across the outside and decorated with geometrical and star designs in brown henna dye. Fitted with a black plastic light fitting inside, with black plastic wrapped electrical cable and plug.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
