Summary

A stainless steel electric iron, with a cream and black plastic handle, over an arched and pointed bottom plate. With a circular printed cardboard dial within a black plastic ring, indicating temperature settings. Attached to a fabric wrapped cord, terminating with a black moulded plastic two prong electrical plug.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
