Summary
A West African imbira (thumb piano) constructed from twelve bent steel prongs pinned under a steel bar mounted on top of a piece of wood, incised with three simple geometric motifs, glued into the bottom section of a goard.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
