Summary
A green painted and cream ground glazed Italian pitcher. Of baluster form with a high scrolled handle above a frieze of two stylised dragons among foliage over a gentle reeding going down to the socle.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
Marks and inscriptions
Underside: “CUCCHI” and a black ink stamp of a two handled vase with indistinct script above and “DERUTA” below.
