Summary
A black leather document case, the top surmounted with a leather handle, over a flap that fastens with two black leather buckles, and secures with a circular brass lock. Lined with tan canvas. Bearing gilt tooled royal crown and “ER II” monogram to the flap.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
